Dr. Aranas is a general neurologist with subspecialties in Clinical Neurophysiology and Sleep Medicine. She is an expert in providing care to patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, including headaches (such as migraines, cluster headaches, and tension headaches), Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s dementia, stroke, seizures, gait and balance disorders, neck and low back pain, lumbar disc disease (herniated disc), neuropathy, Bell’s Palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, and neuromuscular disorders.

In addition to neurological disorders, Dr. Aranas also provides care to patients with sleep disorders such as Insomnia, Narcolepsy, Restless Legs Syndrome, Sleep Apnea (both Obstructive and Central Apnea), Shift Work Circadian Rhythm Disorder, Sleepwalking Disorder, and abnormal movements during sleep.

Dr. Aranas graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago. Her nursing experience helped her develop compassionate care for her patients and their families. She was awarded the 2005 American Academy of Neurology Medical Student Prize for Excellence in Neurology, recognizing outstanding clinical knowledge and acumen in the field of neurology.

Dr. Aranas is dedicated to advocating for her patients in neurology and providing excellent, unparalleled, and compassionate care for all her patients. She was recognized as one of the 2014 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Palatucci Leadership Advocates, which identifies neurologists who exhibit strong leadership potential and a passion for neurology.

To further reinforce her skills, Dr. Aranas received her Physician Masters in Business Administration (Physician MBA) degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, combining healthcare-focused MBA skills with clinical expertise to enhance patient care and outcomes.
